This summer's destination:
The American Southwest, more specifically, Santa Fe, New Mexico!
You know, sometimes I get caught up in my crazy New York centric head thinking that the United States is comprised of only the polluted, urban bustle that is New York City (yeah, I know). But when you think about it, or better yet, what is actually pure fact is that this country is HUGE! The variety of physical landscapes and cultures within this country boggles my mind. So why not explore it! This prompted the trip to experience a little piece of the American Southwest.
Santa Fe is known for its charming adobe style houses, picturesque landscape, and of course a rich culture in cuisine and the arts. Might I add that I'm also elated to be going during the week of one of the biggest Native American curated markets in the country. You know what that means - SHOPPING!
After what seems like a long stretch since my last vacation, I am in desperate need of a little fresh air and a change of scenery. Deep breath, recharge and refresh.
