My name is Sophia. I love art, color, contrast, laughing, writing finished or unfinished thoughts, music, using my six senses, travel, faces, the human body, Eastern philosophy, hair, makeup, glitter, blogging, going on other blogs, learning, languages, the smell of books, being a slow reader, fashion as a personal choice, elephants, statement pieces, life, being random and coconuts.

The larger concept of this blog is beauty and life through art, and what that means is that nothing is a straight line. We use our hands to create our own beauty. It is the idea of women creating and recreating their own beauty inspired by life. It is a celebration of ourselves and our multi-faceted identities through creative expression. This is just a small piece of my story.

What's in a name?           

KIFFER /kife/: Derives from French slang, a verb meaning "to be crazy about someone or something."

COCO /koko/: My own abstract definition of beauty that derives from all shades, hues and colors.
