I'm apartment shopping -- my boyfriend and I are finally moving in together (hold applause)! If we can survive the apartment decorating process and not to mention living in close quarters, we are golden right? Anyway, I fell in love with these lovely furnishings. If I save my pennies now maybe one day these items can grace our studio apartment. Why are Anthropologie/West Elm so freakin' expensive? Anyone know of any places to find funky furniture that don't cost you an arm and a leg? I'm trying to avoid the IKEA apartment (though there' s nothing wrong with it), I'm just looking for a little authenticity.

PS I know the hammock is a bit much (and in a Brooklyn apartment, pretty useless). But it's still pretty. Maybe we can string it across the living room/ bedroom...?
