Ok, so I literally jumped when I saw that Joy Denalane was coming out with a new album, entitled Maureen, this May. When an artist you really admire comes out with a new CD, it's like a personal gift to you :-) Ok, I know I'm being a bit dramatic, but I am so excited to hear her new music. It's been about five years since her last album, "Born & Raised," which was recorded primarily in English -- which is great for us Anglophones -- but I feel she's at her best in German. It just SOUNDS so right! I am waiting with anticipation for this one!
