Blow-out + Braid out. After washing, I dried my hair with a blow dryer. I combed through each section (with B5 Design Gel already applied to 4 sections) with a Denman brush, while drying on low heat, low speed. I ended up with semi-straightened hair (think Chaka Khan/ Diana Ross). I basically blow-dried and combed through each section until puffy. I don't have the little comb attachment for the blow dryer, so I use my Denman brush instead to get the same effect. I then applied Vatika Coconut Oil to scalp and hair, and braided 5 braids per section, a total of 20 braids. Unbraided this morning, and voila! This method gives me lots of length, but not too much volume which is okay for today.

B5 Design Gel
Vatika Coconut Oil
* I braided one braid in the back and weaved in this hair chain. I'm not exactly sure if it's used as jewelry, or a hair piece, but I thought it looked cool enough -- kind of heavy though. This is a Kuchi piece from the nomadic tribe in Afghanistan.
