I was introduced to this singer recently, and when I saw her live (in Brooklyn for FREE!) I knew my ears were going to receive an amazing gift. Known by many as "Morocco's Jazz Jewel," Malika Zarra fuses the sounds of jazz and Morocco through a unique blend of tongues, singing in French, English, Arabic and Berber. Her voice indeed takes you through a cross cultural journey.

I felt even bigger appreciation and admiration for the fact that she sported her beautiful vibrant red fro! I feel such a beautiful comradeship with my fellow naturals! Click the image below to listen!
