Hey Guys,

So, yes -- yesterday I did it. I straightened my hair (also dusted my ends as well - they so need it!) Mind you, I hate pin straight hair that sometimes a flat iron can't help but do - but the results came out with a lot of body. Also, wearing my hair in a bun before bed yesterday gave it a nice little wave.

I watched my curls cross into the abyss of straightness. It's nice to switch it up every once in a while, but I'm already missing my big hair. My sister "maxiglided" it, of course on the lowest setting possible. I have possibly the very first version of the Maxiglide, therefore it's clumsy and weighs like a brick. I think the newer ones are sleeker, please god. The Maxiglide apparently uses steam technology to straighten hair which is supposed to deter you from pumping up the heat, therefore causing less damage. Who knows if this is true - but it didn't come out too bad. My hair doesn't feel fried and oh, I am almost to BSL! I will be posting more pictures on Monday (keeping the above shot super incognito).
