Ok Guys:
I am bored. Not with my hair, but with my products. There might be an underlying Product Junkie in me, and though I've tried my hardest to resist the urge... I failed. However, I am super excited to try this new product that I ordered!
So here it goes:
It's a conditioning Hair Masque I ordered from the Butters-N-Bars site. I've never tried hair masques before but this one looked interesting and the price tag was even better.
Description:
Original Conditioning Hair Masque which has a mixture of Australian Pink Clay, Moroccan Mud, and raw Honey to provide super moisturizing and is recommended for dry hair to restore the moisture balance. Silk protein and hemp seed oil for sheen and to strengthen. Take your honey and olive oil treatment to the MAX! (Butters-N-Bars.com)
Ingredients: 100% Australian Pink clay and Moroccan Mud (Rasshoul clay), aloe vera
juice, hemp seed oil, olive oil ,raw honey and silk protein, grapefruitseed extract, and
germall
I purchased the 6oz tub for $6.99 (not including s/h). I will try this the next time I do my wash as a deep treatment.
On a side note, I'm going to pay a visit to Shea Butter and Coconut Oil...and maybe even a revisit to my ex, Henna. I've used these products a lot when my hair was shorter and I felt it just wasn't working well for my length, if that makes any sense. Even using the conditioner only method when my hair was shorter affected my results, making me look like MJ in his Thriller days. But since my hair has grown some in length, I am curious to try them again. I want to try Coconut Oil/ Shea Butter for my sets (which reminds me I have to get another water spritz bottle)...
Anyway, we'll see how it goes. The conditioner only method was working great, but I kind of want to revisit the more "organic" route again. I feel like I need to give some old friends another chance.
