Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the search has finally ended.
I finally found a cheap ticket (like under $700) to go to Paris. I've been trying to find a reasonable ticket for what seemed like an eternity. Everywhere I looked, the prices were sky high! Until a few days ago, I made the wonderful discovery on Vayama.com (amazing prices, guys!)!
Departure: December 28, 2010!
You don't know how badly I've been wanting to go to Paris -- one, because my grandmother lives there and two, because I miss the beauty of it. I know my return to Paris, though, will be bittersweet because in truth, I haven't been back since my grandfather passed away. So, it definitely won't be the same.
But on a lighter note, I'm excited to see my family, to eat some good food, and to partake in festivities that await me! Why does December have to be so far away?!
