Hey Guys,
I finally got back from my trip to San Fran, which was amazing. The city, the people, the art, and most importantly the FOOD, were absolutely fantastic. The weather turned out to be beautiful and sunny -- no fog -- so my hair was ecstatic! I have to say that I did pack pretty badly when it came down to my hair supplies. Of course, I left packing to the last minute and I just grabbed literally what I saw from my bathroom shelves. The two products I grabbed:
1) Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner
2) Eco Styler Hair Gel
I co-washed the night before I left and put it back into a ponytail. So far, so good. But by the end of the week, with one co-wash in between for a wash and go, my hair was terribly dry. I love the smell of the Coconut Milk Conditioner, but it did not leave my hair feeling moisturized at all. I've had good results with Aussie Moist conditioner, but I didn't have that one on hand. And on top of that, I didn't pack my huge jug of coconut oil! My hair was pretty pissed off needless to say. So as soon as I got back, I tried to make it up with a deep conditioning treatment and lots of luscious coconut oil. I think my hair may have forgiven me... I need to be better at packing for my hair (seems like that may result in a separate suitcase). But hey, you need to be prepared for all situations, for which in this case, I was not.
What are your go to or must have products for when you travel?
