Little Bundles of Joy
It's been a minute since I've written... I missed you guys! So much has happened within these last few months... big life changes!
Where to start, where to start: I found out I'm going to be an aunty!!! Specifically, I will be the proud aunt of a nephew baby boy... hitting stores this November. Folks, I am officially going to be the ordained soccer "aunt."I might even have to get a mini van...with the electric doors. Got to ride in style.
To top all of this wonderfulness off, I am the proud owner of a brand new kitten!
Words cannot express how happy about all of it. And by the way, the aforementioned kitty name of "Georgio" has been abolished. From the very first moment I saw him, I saw Blue.
My boyfriend and I adopted Blue just shy of two weeks now. We brought him home, a scrawny Blue Russian mix that's growing and fattening up by the minute. I am so glad that we finally decided to make that move and get a pet. Within only the first two weeks of having him, I am filled with so much joy--even though at times Mr. Blue can be quite the rambunctious one.
Life can be amazing.
Tuesday Tress Look: Summer, Summer Hair!
Presenting my new summer hair cut! I returned to Self Salon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a second time. And my stylist, Jeff, wowed me again!
Ok, so my hair was looking really flat without layers and, quite honestly, kind of boring. I feel layers give my curls a nice pop. The cut cost me $89, compared to Devachan which cost me over $120 for a cut that was a lot less complicated. I'm turning over a new leaf meaning that I am making "hair" decisions based on my own needs and desires. It's easy to get caught up in picturing someone else's hair on your head. Do what works and looks good for YOU, and the rest is gravy.
