As winter creeps its way into our skin, we are often left dry and itchy. I fell deeply in love with The Body Shop's Body Butter in Coconut. It smelled divine, sweet and tropical, and it made my skin so soft and smooth. The only problem: it cost $20 a pop. And, considering that I ran through that thing like water, the cost started to hurt my little ol' pocketbook. I was on a mission. I scoured the drugstore shelves to find a decent equivalent. But I found nothing. Finding a good lotion is like finding a good hair product, n'est ce pas? I get the heebeegeebees when my skin is dry. Not a good feeling. So I settled for Palmer's Cocoa Butter, which isn't horrible, but I missed the fabulous work of my beloved Body Butter.
THAT IS UNTIL...I discovered Boots' Body Butter line from Target for only $9! Now, it's not a complete, %100 match to The Body Shop line, in regards to its creaminess and consistency. But for half the price, Boots' Body Butter makes a close enough match. I really love the scent -- I got it in Brazil Nut and Vanilla.
If you guys are searching for a moisturizing, smell good body cream, try the body butters from Boots. It's a definite keeper in my book. My skin loves it, and my pocketbook isn't hurting!
