Saturday, I celebrated my [gasp!] 26th birthday.
So how does it feel? Well, I feel the same as I did at 25. But I have to admit, I did have my momentary interval of sadness where I was like, "I remember when I was 18 and carefree...". I know -- I can be a bit melodramatic, but it's in my nature. Anyway, 26 is not old, gosh! Age ain't nothing but a number! Anywho, the main event was to celebrate another year of life with close friends and family and party it up...birthday shots anyone? Hmm, I hope I didn't embarrass anyone...
In any case, I'm not sure where this idea spawned from...but I decided to look up all of the number one songs on my birthday from 1986 to today. I guess I had a lot of time on my hands, but it was a pretty cool project. It was really fun to do, and even more, fun to hear the progression of my life through music. Granted, a few songs on the list are not what I would call my favorite...but still.
